Though I started my love for design at a young age, I began working in the industry while studying interior design at Georgian. Ultimately, my goal was to one day open my own firm – and KL Interior Design was opened in 2010.

With over ten amazing years in the business of design, I’ve developed a real passion and focus on new construction. Seeing a set of plans manifest into an incredible home, after working closely with clients for a year or so – is really rewarding.

My design style is classic with modern influences. I like to keep the palate neutral and timeless – working with texture and layering to create a very warm and inviting space. It’s very important to me that a space be as functional as it is beautiful. There’s so much thought that goes into how a family lives and how the space needs to function when designing. I love to incorporate architectural details to give a newly-constructed house character and old-world feel.
